Moon and Dragon Builder has entered into a contract for the construction of the new Phodong Karma Thubden Tashi Chokorling Monastery. Phodong Karma Thubden Tashi Chokorling is associated with the Karma Kagyu (Kagyupa) tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. The monastery is traditionally associated with His Holiness the 10th Gyalwa Karmapa, Chöying Dorje (1604–1674), a prominent figure in the Karma Kagyu lineage.
The new monastery construction project will contribute to the development of a dedicated religious and community centre, providing facilities for Buddhist practice, teaching, cultural activities and the preservation of the Karma Kagyu tradition.
